You can Google anything. You can ask AI to write you a marketing plan in thirty seconds. Every business strategy you could ever want is sitting one search away.

So here’s what I keep coming back to: if information were the missing piece, every business owner would already have the business they dream about.

AI can hand you a plan. It can’t see you.

Why the right coach changes everything

The right coach isn’t someone who thinks exactly like you. It’s someone who:

• Sees your values clearly, sometimes before you can name them yourself
• Turns those values into a business plan and a calendar that actually match
• Catches you when you’re shrinking the goal to fit the old version of you
• Believes in where you’re going, and holds you to it

This isn’t just my opinion. When researchers pooled the results of coaching studies, they found coaching had meaningful positive effects on performance, wellbeing, and how people pursue their goals (Theeboom, Beersma & van Vianen, 2014). That lines up with everything I’ve watched happen in real life.

What I’ve seen when the fit is right
