Are you leading your business — or is it leading you?

Mar 29, 2026

Let me ask you something honestly — when was the last time you were the most important meeting on your calendar?

Not your team. Not your clients. Not the fires that somehow keep finding you.

You.

Because here's what I know after 30+ years in business and coaching some of the most driven women I've ever met: the highest-performing leaders don't just run their businesses — they lead them. With intention. With clarity. With purpose.

And the one habit that separates the ones who are scaling from the ones who are surviving? They schedule a weekly CEO meeting with themselves.

Here's the truth no one tells you

If you're not leading your business, your business will lead you.

I've watched it happen — and I've lived it. You wake up, grab your phone, react to what feels urgent, bounce between meetings, handle the chaos… and by the time you look up, the day is gone.

You were busy. But were you strategic?

That's where alignment slips. That's where burnout takes hold. That's where growth quietly stalls — not because you're not working hard enough, but because you're not working on the right things.

A weekly CEO meeting changes that. It pulls you out of the weeds and puts you back in the driver's seat — where you belong.

So what exactly is a Weekly CEO Meeting?

It's a dedicated, protected block of time — 45 to 60 minutes — where you step fully into your role as the CEO of your business. Not the operator inside it. Not the one putting out fires. The leader.

This is your space to think clearly, evaluate honestly, decide intentionally, and lead proactively.

This is where real growth happens.

How to Run It: Your CEO Playbook

I built this around my Prep, Pause, Presence framework — because it works, and because it meets you exactly where you are each week.

1. Prep — Look Back Before You Look Forward

Start with reflection. Ask yourself:

  • What were my biggest wins this week?
  • Where did I actually spend my time?
  • What moved the business forward?
  • What felt off or out of alignment?

This is where awareness becomes your superpower.

2. Pause — Get Radically Honest

This is the step most people skip. Don't.

Pause long enough to ask the questions that matter:

  • What needs to stop?
  • What needs to be delegated?
  • What am I avoiding?
  • Where am I overcomplicating things?

Clarity doesn't come from doing more. It comes from seeing clearly — and being brave enough to act on what you see.

3. Presence — Decide and Lead Forward

Now step into your leadership. Fully.

Ask yourself:

  • What are my top 3 priorities for the week ahead?
  • Where do I need to show up as a stronger leader?
  • What conversations need to happen?
  • What actions will actually create momentum?

Then commit. Not to a long list — to focused execution.

A Few Things That Make It Stick

  • Put it on the calendar like a client meeting. Non-negotiable.
  • Same day, same time every week. Consistency is the magic.
  • Bring a notebook. You'll start to see patterns — and those patterns are gold.
  • Protect your energy during this time. This is strategic thinking, not reactive doing.

The Shift You'll Start to Feel

When you commit to this practice — even for four weeks — something changes.

You stop feeling scattered. You start making decisions from clarity instead of pressure. You lead with confidence. You create momentum on purpose.

This is how you move from hustle to harmony. From busy to intentional. From reacting to leading.

One Last Thing

You don't need more time. You need more clarity around how you're using the time you already have.

This meeting is where that clarity lives.

So here's your challenge this week: Put it on your calendar. Show up for yourself. And lead your business like the CEO you already are.
