The permission slip you've been waiting for

May 17, 2026

You've worked hard for everything you have.

The title. The team. The business. The reputation.

And yet — something still feels off.

You're leading at a high level, but you're running on empty. You're hitting goals, but you're not sure you're actually happy. You want more… and then immediately feel guilty for wanting it.

Here's your permission slip: You're allowed to want more.

More peace. More presence. More joy. All while leading at a high level.

The Data Doesn't Lie

This isn't just a feeling — it's a pattern. Research confirms it:

  • McKinsey found that 1 in 3 senior-level women want to leave or significantly downshift their careers — not because they've lost ambition, but because the cost of leading without support has become too high.
  • Deloitte found that a quarter of women don't want a promotion — with burnout and company culture as the top reasons. Burnout isn't just exhausting. It's dimming ambitions that should be on fire.
  • Psychology Today reports that high-achieving women who appear to "have it all" often privately feel like they're failing everyone — and the exhaustion feeds guilt, which drives them to work harder, making it worse.

Sound familiar?

Here's What I Want You to Hear

Wanting more doesn't mean you're ungrateful.

It means you're awake.

The women I work with are already successful by every measurable standard. But they come to me because something feels missing — and they've been afraid to say it out loud.

So let me say it for you:

  • You're allowed to want a business that grows and a life that feels good.
  • You're allowed to lead with energy instead of exhaustion.
  • You're allowed to be present — at work and at home — without feeling like you're failing at both.
  • You're allowed to redefine what success actually looks like for you.

That's not weakness. That's wisdom.

3 Shifts to Start Now

1. Name what "more" actually means to you. Not what looks good on paper. Not what you think you should want. What do you want? Write it down. Get specific. Clarity is the first step.

2. Stop waiting to feel permission. Nobody is going to hand it to you. High-performing women are the least likely to give themselves grace — and the most likely to need it. Decide today that your fulfillment is not negotiable.

3. Audit your energy, not just your calendar. Your schedule might be full, but where are you depleted? Where do you feel most alive? Leadership that's sustainable starts with knowing the difference.

You didn't build everything you've built just to feel depleted by it.

You deserve to lead at a high level and love your life. Those two things are not in conflict — unless you keep telling yourself they are.

The shift from hustle to harmony starts with one decision: to stop waiting for "someday" and start building it now.

Ready to make that shift? Let's talk. Book a Discovery Call and let's figure out exactly what "more" looks like for you — and how to build it.

With you in it,

Jody
